Carbon & Biodiversity Projects

At Renovo Ag, we are dedicated to supporting Australian farmers by helping them execute projects under the Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCU), Nature Repair and Biodiversity markets. Our fee-for-service model ensures that you receive expert impartial guidance without commission.

We believe in empowering farmers through education, enabling them to make informed decisions about their natural capital. Our goal is to help you assess and engage with nature markets to achieve the best outcomes for your broader operations.

Renovo Ag specialises in the following methods:

Planting native trees and shrubs endemic to your property. Requirements include: a 25 or 100-year project term, sites must be free from tree cover (>20%) in the past 5 years, soil types and rainfall suitable for establishing and growing trees > 2m tall and capable of attaining 20% cover. Planting 200 stems / ha min

Increasing soil organic carbon in soils through a change in land-use to address nutrient deficiencies, improved pastures, cropping to pasture conversion etc.

Emissions avoidance by introducing planned burning during the early dry season to prevent late season wildfire, when compared to a baseline. Projects need to have a history of late season fires within the baseline period.

Projects which protect and improve the condition of native vegetation relative to a benchmark site in order to generate voluntary biodiversity certificates.

Projects which protect and improve the condition of native vegetation relative to ecological benchmarks in order to generation ecosystem and species credits for trading within the NSW Biodiversity Offset Scheme.
