Renovo Ag’s 1-day Natural Capital Property Planning course has been developed for Australian producers seeking to better understand the commercial opportunities from natural capital projects, and how they may fit into your agricultural operation. This course is not a sales pitch rather it focuses on education and extension to support Australian producers understand and assess project viability.
Through case studies and real-life examples, the course unpacks the following key issues for each project type:
Project fundamentals, how it works, key obligations, eligibility criteria and risks
Assessing site suitability, what drives site suitability and project yields
Understanding the market including assessing demand
Project commercials including how to assess revenue and costs
FullCAM Environmental Planting carbon yields (tCo 2-e / ha / pa)
What you receive:
a desktop natural capital opportunity assessment report for your property (delivered prior to the course)
cost and revenue models (excel templates) to assess project viability
training in online free assessment tools.
Courses are limited to 10 properties (up to 2 people per property may attend) to ensure adequate time to unpack and workshop each project type.

Environmental Plantings - Earn carbon credits from planting native trees and shrubs endemic to your property.
Biodiversity Credits - In NSW earn ecosystem and species credits from establishing and managing a biodiversity offset site and improving its ecological condition.
Soil Carbon - Earn carbon credits from building soil organic carbon in your soil from undertaking a specific set of land management activities
Nature Repair - Earn biodiversity certificates from running a nature repair project and improving ecological condition
