Environmental plantings

Renovo Ag specialises in executing projects under Environmental Plantings method of the Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Scheme.

These projects plant native trees and shrubs endemic to the property. Requirements include:

  • 25 or 100-year project term,

  • sites must be free from tree cover (>20%) in the past 5 years,

  • soil types and rainfall suitable for establishing and growing trees > 2m tall and capable of attaining 20% cover

  • planting 200 stems / ha min

Campbells River Restoration Project

Located near Rockley NSW in the Oberon Shire Council Area, the property is 27 ha in total and includes 2km river frontage to the Campbells River adjacent to a State Forest.

The project area is 20 ha of hillside with legacy weed issues (serrated tussock, blackberry, various other annual weeds). The project will restore the 20 ha of hill area to an open grassy woodland for ACCU generation while retaining residual grazing and protecting the asset value.
